Mermaids On The Rocks is located on one of the highest points on Great Guana Cay in the Abaco islands. From the deck of the restaurant, you can take in the tropical island views from the Sea of Abaco to the Atlantic Ocean.
Local artist Barefoot Contessas captured our vision for Mermaids On The Rocks in a gorgeous painting that can be found in various media throughout the property. In Mermaid Resort Boutique, you will find a treasure cove filled with wearable art shirts, matted prints, keepsake chests and much more!
Shimmering at the bottom of the pool is a tile mural image taken from the original painting on silk. It is one of three large tile murals on the Resort property with images of the Barefoot Contessas' work. The pool has an infinity wall where water flows over the Barefoot Contessas' favourite mermaid: Bottoms Up!
The large bar in the restaurant has a stained glass window of that same image. And, of course, the rooms also feature brightly coloured framed prints of the Barefoot Contessas' artwork.

Elegant yet casual and a fantastic location.
Had dinner there and it was fantastic.
Going back today for lunch and pool bar. Lovely setting!
Beautiful views, fantastic service, delicious food.
Take your swim suit they have a nice pool with rules that have a sense of humor.
Can't wait to go back and check out the boutique.
